Lash help for teary Brides or clients with watery eyes

I have found that regular Duo glue just isn't enough for your teary-eyed client, the lashes just won't stay put! So, I highly recommend waterproof lash glue. It is made by DUO- so it is safe for use around the eye area and comes in Dark tone. You can find it at MAC Pro Stores and at several online retailers. ~M

Things that make me happy when doing makeup...

1. My MAC brush cleanser, it conditions and sanitizes my brushes, dries quickly and DOESN'T smell!!! Love it!!!
2. NYX lipliners, you can find these at Ulta, they are made in Germany and go on super smooth-I was told about these by a makeup teacher I had years ago, and I have used them since. They really work well and come in a good spectrum of colors.
3. My Dinair Glamour foundations, I love that they have a natural finish rather than a super-matte look.
4. The lash curler from Japonesque is amazing, perfect curl, comfortable grip for you, comfortable if you are curling someone else's lashes, they also used to have a barrel style pencil sharpener, but I can seem to find it. It sharpened perfectly smooth, very important in makeup pencils!

Tip of the day: To keep humidity and oil at bay, use a primer under your foundation. Most professional makeup artists do use primers to help make your foundation last through the day and night. You can always request it be used if your artist has not offered.

Here is a tip for Brides seeking the services of a professional makeup artist: look through magazines, they could be Bridal specific or not, and tear out looks that you would like to see on your face. This helps the artist have a clear vision of your ideas. Schedule a preview with an artist and bring those tear outs with you to the appointment. I always make a face chart and take photos as a reference for my Brides.
